Al Baraka Bank Sudan was established on 26/02/1984 and was officially inaugurated on 14/03/1984. The Head office is located at Al Baraka Tower Qasr Avenue, Khartoum-Sudan. The Bank is registered in the Sudanese General Registrar of Companies under the No. sh/2732 and licensed by the Central Bank of Sudanto exercise banking and investment business according to the provisions of Islamic Shari’a.
The bank’s authorized capital is 500 million SDG ( Five Hundred Million SDG) with USD 42.6 million (USD Forty-Two million six hundred thousand) issued and fully paid. Al Baraka Banking Group contributes 75.7% to the capital while other Sudanese shareholders contribute 24.3%.
