ABSA Debt Review department have embarked on a campaign of internal staff training, in an effort to upskill team members on an ongoing basis. To make provision for this training they will be making use of Monday afternoons after 15:30 pm each week. This training is aimed at making sure the team are very familiar with systems and the overall debt review process. Providing teams with a context for the individual tasks they perform greatly assists with matters where there are challenges and where the matter is slightly outside the ‘norm’. Training of staff is key to a successful operation. ABSA began this new routine of training during March and say it is likely to be ongoing indefinitely.
